FIRST SHRIMP BOIL A ROLLING SUCCESS

The Choctaw-Nicoma Park Schools Foundation hosted its first Shrimp Boil on October 1 at the Choctaw Creek Park Pavilion.

The event included a silent dessert auction, a live auction, a wine pull and of course, food! There were around 300 attendees who came out to enjoy the fun activities and delicious fare.

The event raised $8,000 benefitting the Choctaw-Nicoma Park Schools Foundation, which helps to provide grants for Choctaw-Nicoma Park teachers and schools.

Due to the success of the event, the foundation is planning to host another shrimp boil next year.
